BASF raises ethonalomines prices in Europe

BASF, German based chemical company, has raised prices of ethanolamines in Europe, with immediate effet.

Ethanolamines are high-class intermediates used in the manufacture of crop protection agents and wood protectants, surfactants for detergents and cleaning products, process chemicals for gas treatment, lubricants and cement additives as well as active pharmaceutical ingredients.

BASF said that it has increased its European sales prices for ethanolamines (EOA) as follows:

Monoethanolamine (MEOA)         + 120 Euro/mt

Diethanolamine       (DEOA)          + 120 Euro/mt

Triethanolamine      (TEOA)          + 120 Euro/mt

or by the equivalent amounts in local currency.

Also, the company said that the price increase will apply to current supply agreements as soon as and to the extent permitted by their terms and conditions.
